Kamal Haasan and Shruti Haasan's much-awaited film has finally got a title. The movie christened as Sabash Naidu and Kamal has unveiled the film's first look. Apparently, Kamal's role in Sabash Naidu is a take-off from a character Balram Naidu, a Research Analysis Wing officer that Kamal Haasan played in Dasavatharam which the audience loved.
What's more? Kamal's real daughter and actress Shruti Haasan will be seen as the reel daughter to Kamal in the movie. Top comedian Brahmanandam has been roped into play his side kick Appa Rao in the Telugu and Tamil versions. Simultaneously made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, Saurabh Shukla will reprise Brahmi in the Hindi version.
Directed by TK Rajeev Kumar, Kamal Haasan and Shruti would head to the US to start shoot of the film from May 14 and complete it by July. Actress Ramya Krishnan will also be in the film in a significant role. Maestro Ilayaraja is going to compose tunes for the film.

The audio album and theatrical trailer of one of Tollywood's most admired directors Trivikram Srinivas' latest romantic family entertainer A..Aa were unveiled just a while ago, with Power Star Pawan Kalyan gracing the event as the chief guest.
The trailer starts off with Samantha's character's voice over narrating the story of a couple with a beginning, a twist and the end. While Samantha aka Anasuya Ramalingam meeting Nandu, played by Nithiin, at a railway station is the beginning, the twist is Anupama Parameswaran's character.
Samantha then narrates that she doesn't know how the story will end. And what follows allthrough the trailer is pure Trivikram's trademark visual treat. The plush, scenic locations and an interesting drama which are a must in every Trivikram movie can be found in A..Aa trailer too. Young hero Raj Tarun got instant craze with his debut film 'Uyyala Jampala'. After that, he scored back-to-back hits with 'Cinema Choopista Maava' and 'Kumari 21F'. After the debacle of his 'Seetamma Andaalu Ramayya Sitraalu', he decided to play it safe and acted in a multi-starrer with Vishnu and scored a hit.

Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan shakes a leg with India's first band of transgenders, Brookbond red label 6pack band. Hrithik says he could not stop himself when they asked him to be part of their album 'Aye Raju' which speaks a meaningful message about discrimination towards transgenders.
Hrithik says they cannot be rejected just because they are different from us and he joined them to support their fight against discrimination. The band choose its album title 'aye raju' for their usage of this word most frequently and the album songs were released on YouTube on Tuesday.
Hrithik claims to be a follower of this band since sometime and appreciates them for their sensible thoughts and entertaining numbers. ollywood director Dasari Narayana Rao once again stoked a controversy with his remarks on Tollywood movie collections. He said that Tollywood industry has not gone to the level of releasing a movie in 1000 theaters and added that at the most a film can only be released in 700 theaters.
The senior movie maker also remarked that the maths revealed by trade circles are untrue and not factual. Dasari said no producer can officially reveal movie collections and that all the news and reports are media created.
It is known that Dasari made similar remarks during Bruce Lee movie release time irritating Mega fans and now his remarks are annoying Bunny's fans. Bunny's movie Sarainodu is currently running in theaters with the talk that it made 50 crores already.
Tollywood is really facing lot of scarcity for cruel villain artists. We are depending on North for filling these characters. Sometimes, main shooting schedules of big budgeted movies are also planned based on the call sheets availability of these busy villains. Of late we have seen Ravi Kishen, Karan Duhan Singh and few more of such actors are imported.
At the same time, wonderful actor Jagapathi Babu giving up his hero image and re-evolving as a antagonist with ‘Legend’ is a happy initiative. Apparently, veteran star heroes are looking at JB and blocking his dates. ‘Sarrainodu’ introduced Aadi Pinisetty in a new, stylish and contemporary villain light for which again appreciations poured in. Adding to the list, NandamuriTaraka Rathna’s re-entry as a dreadful killer in ‘Raja Cheyyi Vesthe’ has also drawn our attention.
Reports say, ‘RCV’ is more of a Tarak film than that of hero Nara Rohit. His stylish villainy with fierce body language is highlighted. Although the movie bombed at Box Office, it gave a much needed break for Tarak to look at the future with optimism. This can be a new start for Taraka Rathna, if he follows Jagapathi Babu’s path carefully.
Kalyan Ram-Puri Jagannadh film launched
A day after announcing the title and releasing the logo of his next with Mahesh Babu, Puri Jagannadh formally launched his next with Kalyan Ram, a film to be produced by the hero himself on NTR Arts. The launch ceremony was graced by Nandamuri Hari Krishna, Nandamuri Rama Krishna, Jr. NTR and the Janata Garage director Koratala Shiva.
Moments after the film’s launch, Kalyan Ram took to Twitter to thank his father, babai, cousin and Koratala Shiva for being there for the occasion.
Yet another time, a Puri Jagannadh hero is acting in the role of a journalist (after Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu). Kalyan Ram will be seen in the role of a powerful journo here. Regular shooting will kick-start in May. The film is slated for a Dasara release.
For Kalyan Ram, this film might just turn out to be a hit like Pataas, thereby cushioning his career in a big way. On the other hand, Puri needs to deliver a row of hits.

Mumbai: Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is making a film titled "Rai", which is based on the life of former underworld don Muthappa Rai.
"'Rai' mega launch. First look of the film I am making based on the life of underworld don Muthappa Rai... The greatest gangster ever," Varma tweeted on Sunday.
The "Satya" helmer, who currently awaits the release of his forthcoming film "Veerappan", also shared information about the budget of "Rai" and mentioned that it would be his "most expensive film ever".
"'Rai' film is going to cost more than Rs.55 crore, which will be my most expensive film ever by leaps and bounds," he said.
"'Rai' is going to be shot in Mangalore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Dubai, London and Kazakhstan," Varma added.
It looks like maverick film director Ram Gopal Varma does not want to leave power star Pawan Kalyan just like that.
Continuing his cold war with Pawan, RGV on Sunday took a dig at the former for making an “appeal” to the Centre to consider granting special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
“Even it is a flop, we want Gabbar Singh, not Beggar Singh. What is the meaning of a power star, when you warn villains in reel life and beg them in real life? Special category status can be achieved if you make a demand and not a ‘vinnapam’ (request). It is very jarring to our ears, if you make vinnapalu (requests) to the Centre,” Varma said.
He charged Pawan Kalyan with cheating Kapus who had voted for the BJP and TDP on his appeal.
“With your requests to the Centre, you made them beggars. Not only Kapus, even Rajus (Varma) are not able to digest your stand,” he said.
At the same time, Varma described Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as real “Power Star.”
“We need stars like KCR who threatens to skin the people at the Centre, not Pawan Kalyans who confine themselves to making requests to the Centre,” he said.
Nara Rohit's latest film Raja Cheyyi Vesthe too has failed to put an end to his flop streak. This is his third flop in a row within a span of few weeks. Rohit has done ten films in his career so far, but is yet to score a hit.
Solo and Prathinidhi did average business but couldn’t give him that hit he was looking for. Rohit had hopes on Tuntari and Savitri films that released earlier this year. However with those films ending up as duds, Rohit shifted his focus on to Raja Cheyyi Vesthe.
Producer Sai Korrapati’s decent track record and the interesting promos of RCV raised hopes on the film.
Raja Cheyyi Vesthe did have an interesting premise, but the director made a mess out of it. This film didn’t even get decent opening anywhere.
Rohit need not worry much about these failures as he has a handful of films on the sets already. However he should put an end to this flop streak and start delivering the goods if people have to take him seriously.

The stylish and slick visuals by DOP Murali and the riveting background score by Santhosh Narayan stand apart and of course, that typical Rajinikanth punch dialogue in the end, "Kabali da" reiterates why he is called the Thalaivar of his fans.
Directed by PA Ranjith and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, Kabali will have its audio launch in the last week of this month and the film will hit the screens in June. -

In a tragic incident, a 24-year-old Telugu girl named Cynthia Mullapudi, who originally hailed from Mahabubnagar, was shot dead in Toronto, Canada on Friday night. Cynthia went for shopping along with her four friends and she was shot by an unidentified person just when she sat in an SUV to return home.
The man opened fired on Cynthia's Canadian friend Joseph and they both were admitted to a nearby hospital where they succumbed bullet wounds even before that received treatment. Police suspect the the incident the attacker targeted Joseph and also killed Cynthia who was sitting in the back seat.
Cynthia's family hailed from Christian Colony in Mahabubnagar. That moved to Toronto, Canada 16 years ago. Cynthia completed her Post Graduation and was working in a private firm. The attacker and another suspect are still at large and police are on a manhunt.
