Hyderabad, May 12 (INN):Telangana Rashtra Samithi Medak MP Vijayashanti on Saturday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of trying to split the pro-Telangana votes by fielding its candidate from Parakala assembly constituency. Talking to media persons, Vijayashanti said that the conditions prevailing in Parakala constituency were different compared to Mahbubnagar constituency where the BJP candidate won the recent by-elections. She appealed to the BJP to drop its candidates and support the TRS in the by-elections. She expressed confidence that the Telangana Political Joint Action committee would support the candidature of TRS. To prevent split of votes in Parakala constituency, she said that the TP-JAC should take a favourable decision towards supporting the TRS in the elections. She said that the splitting of pro-Telangana votes would benefit the Seemandhra forces and expose disunity among the Telangana parties and leaders. Vijayashanti appealed to the State Government to extend assistance to those farmers, whose crops were damaged due to heavy rains at Dubbaka.
