Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi have been taking the credit for every good thing that happened before and after the merger of PRP with Congress.
First in the list is saving the Congress government from collapsing twice (once during Rosaiah's tenure as CM and the other during Kiran's regime). Playing a key role in reducing the hiked power charges, cutting down the VAT on textiles, the idea of promotional campaign of party with booklets having the list of Congress schemes & programmes and also complained to Sonia Gandhi about the diversion of of SC and ST sub-plan funds to other schemes are the few things listed by him as his contribution to Congress till now.
Although there were reports of PRP vote hadn't been transferred completely to the Congress even after the merger, Chiru is confident that his fans would remain with him forever. The people of AP are known to be very intelligent, especially when it comes to voting. Will Chiru's good work comes in handy for Congress in 2014 general elections. Let's wait and watch!
