Hyderabad: Producer-turned-actress Lakshmi Manchu, who is busy with her production 'Gundello Godari' has recently survived a scare while shooting for the film on the river banks at Chinchada village in West Godavari district. The news goes like this; as the debutante director Nagendra was canning a particular flood scene on Lakshmi and Aadhi Pinisetty during midnight, a freaky accident led the two to get dragged deep into the flood while water poured in with unexpected force as soon as the gates for letting the water were lifted. The local fisherman played the role of a saviours by dragging both the actors out of a possible mishap. However, the shoot went peacefully after the mild hiccup. 'Gundello Godari', Lakshmi's ambitious production, is based on four lives during the 1986 floods in Godavari districts. Sundeep Kishan and Taapsee Pannu are playing the other leads of the film which is being simultaneously produced in Tamil too. It is expected to hit the screens this rainy season.
