Hyderabad, June 14: It was a celestial wedding as stars came down to grace. Stars from Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood, Sandalwood and all other places vied with each other to be there at the wedding of Congress MP Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan with Upasana Kamineni that was celebrated on a royal scale.
Ramcharan entered the wedlock at 7-30 am with his long time friend Upasana at the Temple Tree Farm House in Moinabad of Ranga Reddy district.
The couple modern though, chose to follow all the traditional rituals like Sangeeth, Mehandi etc, respected by both the families. The wedding was a feast to the eyes as stars were glittering every here.
Governor ESL Narasimhan, his wife, Tamilnadu governor Rosaiah, Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, TRS Chief K Chandrasekhara Rao, ministers Geeta Reddy, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Raghuveera Reddy, Jana Reddy, MPs, MLAs of all parties, Tamil Super Star Rajini Kant, Kannada great Ambarish, Sridevi, Boni Kapoor, Victory Venkatesh, Movie Mughal Rama Naidu, legendary director Dasari Narayana Rao and almost all the heroes and heroines of the film industry were in attendance. Allu Aravind stood at the entrance and welcomed the guests. All the heroes of the Mega family were in full attendance.
Almost 7000 people turned up for the wedding. The Bride and the Groom looked very happy and oozed charm in their glittering wedding costumes. .
Speaking to the media before his wedding, Ram Charan said it was a dream come true. When media asked him how his bride reacts to his romantic scenes on screen, he said Upasana is like any other girl as she is not from a film family. He said he had explained the situation to her and now she understands that it is all acting. He said she has visited ‘Racha’ shooting locations and understood how a film is made.
He said jokingly that he could romance now with his screen ladies freely as she understands that it is all acting.
