F Andhra Entertainment : South is stepping stone to B-Town

Gone are the days when Southern film Industry is looked down by Northern beauties. Over the past few years or so Southern industry and especially Tollywood is viewed by all as short cut and stepping stone to B-Town debut. Everyone knows that film making in Bollywood takes lot of time and many aspiring heroines are planning to impress South and catch the attention of Bollywood. Those who emerged successful include Genelia, Asin, Tamannah, Ileana, Kajal. Tamannah who debuted in Tollywood with Sri went to feature in many films and her blockbusters like Racha and Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu made her romance Ajay Devgn in Himmatwala in Bollywood. Similar is Charmi who debuted with Nee Todu Kavali and later went on to star in Bollywood films Budda Hoga Tera Baap opposite Amitabh and then Zilla Ghaziabad. Barfi babe Ileana's success story is no different as she featured in super hit south films like Pokiri, Jalsa, Kick and Julayi before impressing all in Barfi. Now she is romancing Shahid Kapoor in Phata Poster Nikla Hero. Even lesser known Nidhi Subbiah went on to star in Ajab Gajab Love with Jackky Bhagnani after making her Tollywood debut with Sweet Heart. Kajal and Tapsee's stories are similar as after debuting in films like Lakshmi Kalyanam and Jhummandi Naadam are eying Bollywood with films like Special 26, Singam and Chashme Baddoor respectively. Beautiful model Kriti Sanon got golden opportunity to romance Prince Mahesh Babu and even before she shot few scenes she got Bollywood chance opposite debutant Tiger Shroff in Heropanti.
