Convicted for five years for his role in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, Sanjay Dutt is not going to give up so easily. While he is to surrender in court on April 18th, it looks like arrangements are made for his quick return rather spending 3.5 years there.
In an emotional outburst during an earlier press meet, the actor clarified that he is not going to file any review-petition or mercy petition to shorten the punishment awarded by Supreme Court to him. However all that talk is not holding true as Sanjay Dutt is getting ready to file a review petition very soon such that his sentence will be shortened. Sources say that Sanjay's lawyers have finally found some loop holes in the case that can bail him out. As he is acquitted under TADA charges earlier and only punished with Arms Act, he is now going to ask that the punishment should also go much softer.
Legal experts however say that it takes an year for Supreme Court to entertain and give decision on Sanjay's petition in the minimum. So the modern Sher Khan may not escape at least some time in Lord Krishna's birth place.
