There were rumours that RGV's close relationship with his once favorite muse Urmila Matondkar didn't go down well with Ratna and this led to the couple's divorce. But during the audio launch of his upcoming film Attack, RGV revealed the main reason behind his divorce.
RGV said that he was a huge fan of Ilayaraja and always wanted to listen to Ilayaraja's songs at night. But his then wife Ratna, a lover of Ghazals, used to play Ghazals at home which led to differences between them and eventually caused their divorce. -
